The GTI e-Convention is the first of its kind and you can join for free. You can learn from world-class experts from diverse backgrounds about the latest projects being deployed in island communities, with interactive sessions you will have the opportunity to ask questions and build up your network. It will be a unique fair with all the latest developments in the world of islands innovation towards sustainability.

The GTI Observatory has a brand-new structure, that aggregates islanders, governments, corporates and academia to match islands’ needs with innovative solutions. The International Scientific Board transposes the needs from the Island Advisory Committee to the Working Groups, where the GTI Observatory Members create specific task forces to deepen the most critical themes. The state of the works of each task force, as well as potential new ones, will be presented by thematic workshops during the International Conference.

This year the “popular vote” will influence the Awards, and members of the Islads world will be able to vote their preferred new topics through the mobile GTI app.

The attendance at the GTI e-Convention is totally free. You can sign up here and all you need is and an internet connection. The entire GTI e-Convention will be broadcasted live. So, we encourage attendees to join live in order to benefit from the interacting opportunities. However, all sessions will be recorded and made available online right after the summit.
