The Axpo Group is the main Swiss utility, owned by one of the North-East Cantons and its municipal society. Among Axpo renewable assets there is hydro, wind, biomass and solar, which are being developed on a European scale. The presence on the whole energy sector is of key importance for Axpo, which stands out especially on the trading segment, its core business. In Italy, Axpo Group operates directly with its subsidiary Axpo Italia, one of the most important player in the trade and sale of electricity, gas, certificates (Green certificates, Guarantees of Origins, CO-FER, TEE) and ETS quota. Axpo Energy Solutions Italia is the Energy Service Company of the group in Italy, dedicated to energy efficiency projects, renewable energies and e-mobility. The company is settled in Genova, Roma and Milano.
