Blunova

Blunova S.r.l. (hereafter “Blunova”) is an Italian company belonging to the Carlo Maresca Group (www.carlomaresca.it) which has been operating for over 60 years in the General Contractor and Renewable Energy sectors and, until November 2021, was the owner of the first Italian hotel chain for summer holidays: Bluserena (www.bluserena.it).

Blunova has been operating in the Renewable Energy sector for about 15 years as an IPP (Independent Power Producer), taking care of the projects at 360 degrees, therefore starting from the authorization phase and managing the construction, financing and asset management on its own. Between 2009 and 2011 Blunova built around 70MW of utility scale photovoltaic and wind power plants. It is currently developing a 2 GW pipe line in Italy of photovoltaic and wind power plants. Since 2019, wind and photovoltaic plants have been authorized for a total power of approximately 370MW, all auctioned with the FER 1 Decree of July 4, 2019 in which the Maresca Group was the first Italian operator for the number of MW of power authorized and incentivized. Of these plants, 130MW are currently under construction and the remaining will be built in the two-year period 2022 – 2023. In addition, Blunova is launching various developments (again on Italian territory) of floating “offshore” wind farms and production of green hydrogen.

ENPHOS (www.enphos.com) is an European company working in the design, manufacturing and sales of innovative and modular Green Hydrogen Hybrid Generators and Green Hydrogen Storage.

ENPHOS, denomination coming from the Antique Greek ἐνέργεια (energéia) and φῶς (phôs), means ‘the Action of the Light’ or ‘Pure Power’ and it is based in Italy in the Venetian Cluster targeting the following activities:

• HYONICS (Hydrogen & Bionics): innovation for hydrogen efficient generation through advanced chemistry to engineer a biologically inspired modular and adaptive generator of Green Hydrogen;
• HYTHESIS (Hydrogen & Thesis): developments of compact hydrogen generators and storage systems (METHYDOR, Meta Hydor);
• HYRIS (Hydrogen & Iris): integration of hybrid systems for energy and industrial applications.

All the activities are based on inter-disciplinary studies to improve the solutions and the systems for Green Hydrogen in a consistent path towards better Sustainability and Circularity.

Genius Watter

Genius Watter is the first Italian and one of the few in Europe to develop desalination and purification solutions powered through solar energy. Established in 2018, with headquarter in Italy and a subsidiary in Cape Verde, Genius Watter stands out on the international scene for its innovative reverse osmosis system 100% solar powered with no batteries and for its unconventional market approach based on both financial and product offers, tailored on customer’s needs.

Its mission is to bring clean and affordable water with economically and environmentally sustainable solutions.

The water produced by Genius Watter’s systems is supplied to customers through a so called “Water-as-a-Service” model, whereby they have access to clean water at an affordable price with no investment needed since Genius Watter manage all the steps: from funding to operation and maintenance. This means responsibility throughout the entire lifespan of the system, which exceeds 30 years.

Island Power

Nowadays Islands obtain their energy often diesel power base, with high price and heavily pollutive. In IPS we provide solutions for clean power production as well as management of water and waste residues.

IPS emerges from a combined experience of over 20 years in the renewable energy sector, waste to energy and energy efficiency. From a starting point on the consumer side, our in-house expertise ranges from power generation technologies, as mini-hydro, wind power, solar energy in all forms and green hydrogen production both for injection in the natural gas pipelines as for energy storage.
