Greening The Islands International Conference is the must-attend event for sustainability professionals and players – from institutions to businesses – who are working in island contexts and other remote locations. The fourth edition of the conference will be held in Favignana (Italy) on 3-4 November 2017. (We have been forced to change date and location due logistical problems created by the recent earthquake in Ischia but, in agreement with Ischia Administration, return to Ischia in the near future).
This year the conference will focus on an enlarged concept of circular island economies, embracing energy, water, waste, mobility, agriculture, tourism, culture and traditions.
The event will be live-streamed allowing both participants in Favignana and those joining online to engage and debate key issues in a TV-like format.
